The existing <br />sidewalks and curb ramps were deteriorated and not incompliance <br />with AOAstandards. Design services included topographic survey, <br />environmental document, and the design ofsidewalk and 123curb <br />ramps for Lincoln Primary and 98 curb ramps for Pedey Fine Arts <br />Academy. <br />Many ofthe sidewalk and curb ramp design locations required <br />unique design solutions toallow the ramp tobedesigned within the <br />AOAguidelines, while negating the need for additional dght-of-vvay <br />or any utility relocations. V3 provided construction inspection services for the <br />installation of240School Zone 2SMPH Flashers installed atvarious <br />locations throughout the City ofIndianapolis. <br />For Phase ||i V5 is provided construction inspection services for the <br />installation ofapproximately 112School Zone 25MPH Flashers installed <br />and 518modem retrofits, including Phase |'atvarious locations. <br />Key components nfthe installations included field adjustments as <br />necessary to avoid utilities, existing driveways and line of sight issues, all <br />while ensuring the flashers were placed in accordance with City standards. <br />Additionally, impacts to adjacent properties and/or concerns of residents <br />nearby were coordinated with the Contractor and Indianapolis DPW staff <br />to make certain the final location of each flasher was satisfactory to all <br />stakeholders. VS Project Supervisor also enforced standard maintenance of <br />traffic procedures acthe safety ofpedestrians and motorists in high traffic <br />volume areas around each school was critical. <br />Construction Cost <br />SIMILAR PROJECTS # 11 <br />
