Airport Economic Development Area
(5) continued...
selling the property to the Commission.
They are interested in an agreement for all
three properties, with transfer of title taking
place on a staged basis over a two year
period. The property at 802-812 S. Sample is
adjacent to the Indiana Michigan Power sub-
station and this property will be needed for
I& M to expand its sub-station as part of
Kevin Smith's Renaissance Project. In addition, the Phase
I Environmental Site Assessment must be
updated within six months of acquiring title
to the property. Wightman Petrie has
submitted a proposal for Phase I updates for
two of the properties as the third property is
not expected to be acquired for about two
years.
The staff recommendation is to approve the
proposal from Wightman Petrie in the
amount of$20,800.
