REGULAR MEETING October 22, 2018
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Councilmember Oliver Davis requested to get an update on the Ardmore Neighborhood situation
regarding the South Shore plan. Councilmember Oliver Davis stated, I saw in the news that they
might have a stop in New Carlisle. I mean,if they have a stop in New Carlisle, with all due respect,
the idea of having a ten (10) minute speed train goes down the toilet really quickly. No matter
where it goes from here, that to me was amazing. The study for that might throw something on
this table. That is another reason I think it is important. I'm at peace.
NEW BUSINESS
Councilmember Oliver Davis announced, The Rum Village Dog Park will open on October 24th,
2018 at 10:00 a.m.
PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR
Samuel Brown, 222 East Navarre Street, South Bend, IN, stated, I would like to.thank the Mayor
of the City. He came to the Kennedy Park Neighborhood Association meeting and it means a lot
to those people to come out and listen to their concerns and what they are trying to do in their
neighborhood. I was proud to see him on the west side.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, President Tim Scott adjourned the
meeting at 9:12 p.m.
23
