South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Regular Meeting—March 13, 2012
6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.)
C. Airport Economic Development Area
(4) continued...
Agreement (Nimtz Parkway Multi-Use Path,
Phase 1 —Engineering Supplement#1).
(5) Resolution No. 3011 approving and
authorizing the execution of an Addendum
to the Master Agency Agreement
(Mayflower Road Planning Study).
Mr. Schalliol asked that this item be tabled
until the next Redevelopment Commission
meeting.
Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION TABLED ITEM 6C(5).
Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the
Commission tabled Item 6C (5).
(6) Proposal for Phase 11 Environmental
Study at 600 United Drive (Ivy Tower).
Mr. Schalliol noted that Wightman Petrie
submitted a proposal to provide Phase II
Environmental Services at the Ivy Tower site
at 600 United Drive. The purpose of the
Phase II is to do some site specific testing to
determine environmental conditions and to
set baseline levels for potential cross site
contamination. In January 2012, Wightman
Petrie was hired by the Commission to
complete the Phase I ESA for the site. This
proposal is a continuation of that work.
The fee for the scope of work is $12,600.
The Ivy Tower site is located within the
proposed Renaissance District and the site
study is a component of work to be done in
the future.
