Attached to the Addendum is a copy of the professional services proposal from Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. to provide demolition and project design services for the demolition and reuse of 748 Hawbaker Street. On May 27'h, the Commission purchased 748 Hawbaker, located north of Menards and south of the Mutual Bank location on Ireland and High Street, for uses consistent with the Erskine Plaza Pond project and the Ireland and High intersection improvement project. The lot will be cleared and a sidewalk will be constructed along the eastern edge of the property that will connect the Mendards property and the western end of Erskine Plaza to Ireland Road. The property will also be landbanked to be used to provide drainage relief if conditions require extra stormwater management solutions in that western end of the project area. A map of the parcel is included with this memo. The cost of the planning proposal with Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. Is $3,440.00.
