Botts of the Vet- <br /> er�ns Hos�i�;al in i�7arion, Indiana, with reference to the physical <br /> condition of Schuyle r Lonzo, inwhich it was stated that the med- <br /> ical staff finds his condition to be such that he is t'permanently <br /> and totally disabled and inco�petent" of performing the duties of <br /> z fire�nan. It was decided by the Board that due to this condition <br /> Lonzo shall be relieved from duty on the Fire Department as of Feb. <br /> l, 1938, and the Baard recon�raends that he be placed on pension t�s <br /> of the same date. A copy of Dr. H. H. Botts' letter is on �ile in <br /> the office oP the Bo�rd of Public Safety. <br /> It was regularly moved, secon ded and carried that Robert Smit�i, <br /> _ an applicant for a position on the Fire Dep�rtm.ent be appointed <br /> to the Department as o�' PJlarch l, subject to physical examination by <br /> the Fire Departlnent physici�n, Dr. Pauszek, a.�d also sub ject to ac- <br /> ceptance by t�ie Fire:man's Pension Board, after examination by Dr. <br /> Sensenich.
