This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of pages, referred to <br />in and part of the Agreement between Owner and <br />Engineer for Professional Services dated 08/14, 2018. <br />Engineer's Services <br />Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. <br />Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below. <br />PART 1— BASIC SERVICES <br />A 1.01 Construction dralvings/specs for• installation of new railing at mezzanine <br />A. Design post and railings at seat risers at 2"d level mezzanine per discussion at site July 17, 2018 <br />1:15 PM <br />JPR will provide construction documents/specs for bidding and construction of railings at second <br />level ]mezzanine. <br />A 1.02 Bidding and Negotiation <br />A. Upon receiving the City's approval of the Construction Document and Specifications, the JPR team <br />shall provide the following Bidding and Negotiation services: <br />1) Prepare a Notice to Bidders. <br />2) Address bidder questions and Request for Information. <br />3) Provide design addendums as necessary. <br />4) The Engineer will attend one (1) prebid and one (1) bid opening meeting. <br />5) Review bids and make recommendations to the Client regarding awarding the project. <br />A1.03 Construction Administration: <br />A. Periodic reviews of site construction will be completed to ensure the Contractor(s) is providing the <br />level of quality that is required for the project. It is anticipated that it will take between sixteen (1) <br />months for the project to be completed. The construction administration services will include: <br />1) Reviews of site construction will be completed to ensure the Contractor(s) is providing the <br />level of quality that is required for the project; <br />2) It is anticipated that the Engineer will attend one (1) construction meeting every two weeks <br />(2 total) during the construction period; <br />3) Based upon the on -site observations and evaluations of the Contractor's Applications for <br />Payment, assistance to the Client will be provided to determine the amounts due to the <br />Contractor; <br />4) The Engineer will provide clarification/interpretations of the Contract Documents if such <br />interpretations are necessary for the proper execution or progress of work; <br />5) The Engineer shall render written recommendations on claims, disputes and other matters <br />in question between the Owner and Contractor relating to the execution or progress of the <br />project as provided by the Contract Documents; <br />Page 1 <br />(Eshihit A — Engineers Services) <br />EJCDC E-500 Agreement Between Owner and Engineer for Professional Services <br />Copyright CC 2003 National Society of Professional Engineers for EJCDC.
