Airport Economic Development Area <br /> (5) continued... <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No.2938 <br /> Ms. King and unanimously carried, the AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY <br /> Commission approved Resolution No. 293 8 TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,INDIANA,BOARD <br /> OF PUBLIC WORKS(921, 1007,AND 1018 NORTH <br /> authorizing the transfer of real property to the BENDIx). <br /> City of South Bend, Indiana, Board of Public <br /> Works (921, 1007, and 1018 North Bendix). <br /> (6) Resolution No. 2941 related to acquisition <br /> of property in the Airport Economic <br /> Development Area. (2611 Linden Avenue) <br /> Mr. Sikora noted that the Bosch site and two <br /> privately owned properties nearby are up for <br /> tax sale. Staff would like to put in bids for <br /> each of them on September 14, 2011. The <br /> price is $795.68, the amount of the back <br /> taxes due on the property. Based on the <br /> average of two appraisals the acquisition <br /> value is determined to be $34, 042.50. Staff <br /> asks for authorization of a not-to-exceed <br /> amount of$34,042.50 to bid on the two <br /> properties. <br /> Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No.2941 <br /> Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ACQUIRE 2611 LINDEN <br /> Commission approved Resolution No. 2941 AVENUE AT TAX SALE FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO <br /> authorizing staff to acquire 2611 Linden EXCEED$34,042.50. <br /> Avenue at tax sale for an amount not to <br /> exceed $34,042.50. <br /> D. West Washington-Chapin Development Area <br /> There was no business in the West Washington- <br /> Chapin Development Area. <br /> 24 <br />
