Airport Economic Development Area <br /> (4) continued... <br /> The Department of Engineering prepared bid <br /> specifications. Bids were opened by the <br /> Board of Public Works on Monday, <br /> September 12, 2011. The lowest responsible <br /> bid came in at $23,000. Staff recommends <br /> approval of Resolution No. 2937 which will <br /> allow the Board of Public Works to award <br /> the bid at its September 26, 2011 meeting. <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No.2937 <br /> Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION <br /> Commission approved Resolution No. 2937 OF AN ADDENDUM TO THE MASTER AGENCY <br /> AGREEMENT FOR THE DEMOLITION OF 622 AND <br /> approving and authorizing the execution of 718 EAST SAMPLE STREET IN THE AMOUNT OF <br /> an Addendum to the Master Agency $23,000. <br /> Agreement for the demolition of 622 and 718 <br /> East Sample Street in the amount of$23,000. <br /> (5) Resolution No. 2938 authorizing the <br /> transfer of real property to the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana. (921, 1007, and 1018 <br /> North Bendix). <br /> Mr. Sikora noted that Resolution No. 2938 <br /> transfers six tracts of three Redevelopment- <br /> owned properties to the Board of Public <br /> Works to support the development of the <br /> LaSalle Square senior housing project, <br /> Heritage Place at LaSalle Square. The <br /> transfers are as follows: <br /> 921 North Bendix, Tract I—Purchased from <br /> Faith Apostolic Temple, Inc.; to be <br /> transferred to Board of Public Works and <br /> then to the Sterling/Memorial Hospital of <br /> South Bend non-profit partnership and used <br /> for the senior housing project <br /> 22 <br />
