REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 26, 2007 <br />denied. Mr. Kettlehut stated that he is appealing to the South Bend Common to hold a <br />public meeting on these very same issues. <br />COMMENTS FROM JERRY NIEZGODSKI CONCERNING POSTING <br />INFORMATION ON THE CITY WEBSITE <br />Mr. Jerry Niezgodski, 2930 Bonds Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, stated that he and <br />Marty Wolfson have been working together along with the Redevelopment Commission <br />to get information regarding their upcoming meetings out to the public. They have <br />collaborated to worked towards putting their agenda's on the website along with more <br />descriptive titles to the bills and resolutions so that the general public has better <br />knowledge of what is going to be heard at the Commission Meetings. Mr. Niezgodski <br />asked if the bills are published along with the Committee Meeting Notices and Agendas. <br />He stated that he would like to see the proposed bills posted on the website so that better <br />information is out there and more public participation would be sought. He would like to <br />see better communication with the public. <br />Council President Rouse advised that this topic would be sent to the Information and <br />Technology Committee. <br />Councilmember Varner stated that the Agenda and Minutes of all Council Meetings are <br />posted to the web. Currently, the packet, which consists of proposed Resolutions and <br />Ordinance, is not on the web. Councilmember Varner stated that will change as soon as <br />he can get the IT Department to make it happen.
