Bill No. 18-11 —Amending Building Department Fees <br /> At the request of Chuck Bulot, the Building Department, Director, the bill on a motion by <br /> Councilmember LaFountain and seconded by Councilmember Henry Davis the bill was continued <br /> until August 22, 2011. <br /> • Under misceilaneous the Council asked Gary Gilot for a progress report on by-pass <br /> construction at the August 22, 2011 meeting. <br /> • Murray Miller asked about the implementation of the affirmative action Bill#86-10 <br /> recently, passed by Council. <br /> • Karen White said she wants to be part of the process in choosing the board and <br /> compliance officer. <br /> • Gary responded saying much was already being done to assure equal opportunity for <br /> minority owned businesses. Mayor Luecke reiterated it was the city's goal to increase <br /> opportunities for all.
