Chapter 4 , Article 4 , Section 4-61, of the South <br /> Bend Municipal Code shall be and hereby is, amended to read as <br /> follows : <br /> Sec . 4-61. Taxicabs; companies, vehicles and drivers . <br /> (a) Definitions. As used in this section: <br /> (1) Company license means the written license issued by the <br /> Controller authorizing the holder to conduct a taxicab <br /> business in the City. <br /> (2) Cruising means the driving of a taxicab on the streets, <br /> alleys or public places of the City, in search of or <br /> soliciting prospective passengers for hire . <br /> (3) Driver means any person who is in actual physical <br /> control of a taxicab and is operating the taxicab for hire. <br /> (4) Driver 's license means a written license issued by the <br /> Controller to a person to drive a taxicab upon the streets <br /> of the City. <br /> (5) Holder means a person to whom a company license has <br /> been issued. <br /> 3 <br />
