South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting— September 28, 2001 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />w. Commission approval requested for Agreement <br />for Extension of Facilities to Supply Gas Service <br />in the Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(U.S. 31 Industrial Park, Phase II) <br />Mr. Rock explained that the next step in the U.S. 31 <br />Industrial Park Project is to extend NIPSCO gas <br />service to the project area. The cost is $21,676. <br />This money will be reimbursed to the City as <br />customers are added to the service. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by Mr. <br />Faccenda and unanimously carried, the Commission <br />approved the Agreement for Extension of Facilities <br />to Supply Gas Service in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. (U.S. 31 Industrial Park, Phase II) <br />x. Commission approval requested for Loan and <br />Grant in accordance with the Affordable Loan <br />Program for property located at 225 S. Chicago <br />Street. (Corrine Miller) <br />Mr. Inks noted that the loan is for $2,000 to be <br />repaid in the amount of $55.56 per month for 36 <br />months ith an interest rate of 0 %. The grant is for <br />$1,831.50. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by Mr. <br />Faccenda and unanimously carried, the Commission <br />approved the Loan and Grant in accordance with the <br />Affordable Loan Program for property located at <br />225 South Chicago Street. (Corrine Miller) <br />Y. Commission approval requested for Loan and <br />Grant in accordance with the Affordable Loan <br />Program for property located at 1029 W. <br />Jefferson Street. (James Owens) <br />Mr. Inks noted that the loan is for $4,800 to be <br />repaid in the amount of $80.00 per month for 60 <br />months with an interest rate of 0 %.
