Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(3) continued... <br />assessment is necessary to determine the <br />cost of any remediation activities that may <br />need to be undertaken if the boilerhouse <br />were to be adaptively reused by a <br />commercial or industrial user. Grauvogel & <br />Associates is currently under contract to <br />conduct environmental assessment as <br />needed during the demolition activities at <br />Oliver, and the proposed work is a logical <br />extension of those activities. The study will <br />take approximately three weeks to complete. <br />Staff recommends accepting the proposal <br />from Grauvogel & Associates in the not-to- <br />exceed amount of $5, 660. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />professional services in the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area and authorized staff to <br />retain Grauvogel & Associates based on the <br />scope of services and fee proposed. <br />(Asbestos survey of Oliver Boilerhouse) <br />F.
