Public Hearings <br />(3) continued... <br />Mr. King opened the Public Hearing on <br />Resolution No. 2136 and asked if there was <br />anyone from the public who wished to speak <br />in favor or against the resolution. <br />There being no one from the public wishing <br />to speak regarding Resolution No. 2136, <br />Mr. King closed the Public Hearing for <br />whatever action the Commission wished to <br />take. <br />(4) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2136. <br />Mr. Hunt congratulated Blackthorn <br />management on making the 2004 budget <br />numbers and proposing a conservative plan <br />for the 2005 budget year. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2136 <br />determining to appropriate monies for the <br />purpose of defraying the expenses of certain <br />local public improvements for the fiscal year <br />beginning January 1, 2005 and ending <br />December 31, 2005 including all outstanding <br />claims and obligations, fixing a time when <br />the same shall take effect. (Blackthorn Golf <br />Course) <br />(5) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2138 <br />approving a supplemental appropriation <br />resolution of the City of South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission. (Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area) <br />7 <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION NO. 2136 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 2136 <br />DETERMINING TO APPROPRIATE MONIES FOR THE <br />PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF <br />CERTAIN LOCAL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE <br />FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2005 AND <br />ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2005 INCLUDING ALL <br />OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS, <br />FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE <br />EFFECT.
