South Side Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2148 related to acquisition <br />of property in the South Side Development <br />Area by Eminent Domain. <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that Resolution No. 2148 <br />authorizes the sending of a purchase offer for <br />4209 S. Main Street. The parcel was added <br />to the acquisition list by Resolution <br />No. 2143. There is a single family structure <br />located on the parcel. Acquisition is <br />necessary to facilitate streetscape and <br />corridor improvements within the Erskine <br />Hills shopping district. Based on the average <br />of two independent appraisals of the property <br />Resolution No. 2143 also establishes <br />$106,000 as the offering price. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2148 <br />related to acquisition of property in the South <br />Side Development Area by Eminent Domain. <br />H. Northeast Neighborhood Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2149 relating to the <br />acquisition of real property in the <br />Northeast Neighborhood Development <br />Area. <br />Mr. Laurent noted that Resolution No. 2149 <br />sets the offering price for property owned by <br />Kay Equipment and Supply, Inc. in the <br />triangle between Hill Street and South Bend <br />Avenue.
