Sheridan <br /> Bill No. 11-35—Personal Property Abatement—Hoosier Tank 1710 N. Sheridan <br /> Chairperson Rouse called the Community and Economic Development Committee to order at <br /> 5:12 p.m. He reviewed Bill Nos. 11-34 and 11-35 by first announcing for purposes of public <br /> hearing the bills would be combined in that they were both for Hoosier Tank and Manufacturing <br /> Inc. Bill No. 11-34 is a petition for real property tax abatement. Bill No. 11-35 is for personal <br /> property. <br /> Chairperson Rouse recognized Bob Mathia from Community& Economic Development to <br /> present his summary report of both petitions. Bob described a petition for real property <br /> representing a 20,300 sq.ft. addition to Hoosier Tank worth an estimated, $760,000. The <br /> personal property petition represents an investment of over 1,175,000. The project in total will <br /> create 15 new permanent jobs with an annual payroll over$600,000. <br /> Chairperson Rouse then asked William Welsch from Hoosier Tank to add any comments. <br /> Welsch spoke to the urgent need for the expansion. <br /> Following brief supportive comments, Ann Puzzello moved each bill be sent to Council with a <br /> favorable recommendation.
