August 14, 200fi Health and Public Safety Cornrnittee Meeting <br />Page 2 <br />Council Member White noted that the practice is very, very dangerous; and noted <br />that "Outreach Ministries" were out this past weekend, and should be contacted <br />about the new regulations. <br />Council President Rouse spoke in favor of the ordinance, with it being noted that <br />both the Police Department and Code Enforcement would have authority to <br />enforce the regulations if they are passed. <br />Council Member Pfeifer stated that it is a good bill and inquired as to haw the city <br />would let the public know that it would be in existence. <br />Ms. Nash stated that she would work with the various partnership centers and <br />charitable groups to get the word out, and perhaps a flier could be prepared. <br />Council Member Kuspa made a motion, seconded by Council Member Puzzello <br />that Bill No. 47-06 be recommended favorably to Council.
