RESOLUTION NO. 3446-05 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, PUBLICLY COMMENDING THE 2005 ST. JOSEPH’S HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADING SQUAD FOR WINNING THE AMERICAN CHALLENGE VARSITY COED NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP Whereas, the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, is very proud to publicly recognize the St. Joseph’s High School Cheerleading Squadfor recently winning the 2005 American Challenge Varsity Coed National Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana; and Whereas, the Council notes that as a result of winning this championship, the St. Joseph’s High School Cheerleading Squad may have the unforgettable experience of performing at the National Football League’s Pro Bowl in Hawaii ; and Whereas, the South Bend Common Council hereby recognizes each of the members and coach of the 2005 Championship St. Joseph’s High School Cheerleading Squad, namely: Jessica Collins, a senior Emily Allison, a sophomore Samantha Hoffman, a seniorCourtney Leader, a sophomore Erin Horvath, a senior Anna Canul, a freshman Brittney Mooney, a senior Liz Cruz, a freshman Justine Spychalski, a senior Courtney Dahms, a freshman Beth Campbell, a junior Lauren Hickey, a freshman Jackie Canul, a junior Angela Jasinski, a freshman Maggie Jones, a junior Jill Meert, a freshman Earl Wigfall, a junior Rhonda Mooney, Team Coach Now, Therefore, be it resolved, by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: Section I.
