Enjoy a FREE morning of kite-flying <br /> at Coveleski Stadium, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Two teams of kite flyers will <br /> present a unique "air show" on the outfield, and kites will be available for children <br /> to assemble and fly. Or bring your own kite and show off your aeronautic skills! <br /> In addition, historical and modern aviation equipment from the collections of <br /> the Center for History, Studebaker National Museum, South Bend Regional <br /> Airport, and Atlantic Aviation will be on display, as well as information about local <br /> contributions to aviation. Tours of Coveleski will also be available, the kids' play <br /> area will be open, and concessions will be available for purchase. <br /> Festival of'Flightis sponsored by the City of South Bend, Historic <br /> Preservation Commission of South Bend & St. Joseph County, South Bend Silver <br /> Hawks, Chicago Kite, Studebaker National Museum, Center for History, and South <br /> Bend Regional Airport. It is part of South Bend City Celebration 2007, a yearlong <br /> festival of events and programs held on the 29th of every month to showcase all that <br /> our community has to enjoy. Locales include the Pierre Navarre Cabin at Leeper <br /> Park, the Muessel-Ellison & Ella Morris Greenhouse & Conservatories, Howard <br /> Park Ice Rink, St. Joseph Co.
