REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 9, 2006 Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana met in the Council Chambers of the County-City Building on Monday, January 9, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Council President Charlotte D. White At-Large Chairperson, Committee of the Whole Absent: Al "Buddy" Kirsits At-Large OTHERS PRESENT: John Voorde City Clerk Mary Beth Wisniewski Chief Deputy Janice L Talboom Deputy City Clerk Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand Council Attorney REPORT FROM THE SUB-COMMITTEE ON MINUTES To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: The sub-committee has inspected the minutes of the December 12, 2005 and January 2, 2006, meetings of the Council and found them to be correct. Therefore, we recommend the same be approved. s/Charlotte D. Pfeifer s/David Varner s/Timothy A. Rouse Councihnember Puzzello made a motion that the minutes of the December 12, 2005 and January 2, 2006, meeting of the Council be accepted and placed on file. Councihnember Dieter seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of eight (8) ayes. SPECIAL BUSINESS MOTION ON THE LOCATION OF THE FEBRUARY 13, 2006 COMMON COUNCIL MEETING Councihnember White made a motion to change the location and time of the February 13, 2006 Common Council Meeting to the Studebaker National Museum, 201 S. Chapin Street, South Bend, Indiana, and start the meeting at 6:00 p.m. Councihnember Dieter seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of eight (8) ayes.
