Her <br /> responsibilities include assisting the executive director with the day-to-day administration of The <br /> Morris and Palais Royale complex and all facility marketing and promotions including theater <br /> marquee and websites. Smith has over two years of experience at The Morris and over eight years <br /> related experience in marketing and small business management. <br /> Cindy McCray has been hired as administrative assistant at the Morris Center to assist with <br /> marketing efforts and has responsibility for soliciting advertising sponsorships for both the facility <br /> including Morris marquee sponsorships. McCray received a bachelor of science degree in <br /> education and a master's degree in education administration from Ball State University and brings <br /> over 18 years of administrative experience to The Morris. <br /> Denise Zigler has been promoted to assistant director—booking and event operations. Her <br /> responsibilities include booking concerts and events in the theater, coordinating event operations <br /> with staff, security, ushers with additional responsibility for producing and coordinating the <br /> Fridays by the Fountain summer concert series held in the Jon R. Hunt Plaza. Zigler has over 27 <br /> years of experience at The Morris beginning as an usher and graduated from Public Assembly <br /> Facility Management School from International Association of Auditorium Managers. <br /> The Morris was built in 1921, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and completed a <br /> restoration and renovation process in 2000 with a state-of-the-art stage house and interior restored <br /> to its original vaudeville splendor. The theater hosts a wide variety of concerts, national <br /> Broadway touring musicals, symphony, dance, comedians, and is home to the South Bend <br /> Symphony Orchestra and Broadway Theatre League.
