Mr. Chlebowski replied, We are looking at about twenty-five (25) in the end. We are not
eliminating jobs, we are consolidating that specific responsibility.
Mark Piasecki, 101 N. Conestoga Lane, asked, What does it mean to have the Parental Leave
Program sustainably funded?
Ms. Clark replied, It is currently being spent from the Unemployment Fund which was set up as
a reserve fund. It is a healthy fund. They receive one hundred percent(100%) of their salary but
that specific department will not have to pay that salary, so there will not be double spending.
Mr. Piasecki asked, There won't be any loss in man power for the consolidation of purchasing?
Ms. Hockenhull replied, That is correct. There are no plans to remove anyone.
Ms. Kessim asked, Will body cameras be in the Central Services budget?
Mr. Chlebowski replied, Yes, we will get a one (1) year contract and the company will train our
individuals for free.
With no further business, Committeemember Williams-Preston adjourned the Personnel and
Finance Committee meeting at 6:57 p.m.
Respectfully Submitted, /
Regina Williams-Preston, Committeemember
11
