This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of 18 pages, referred to in <br />and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer <br />for Professional Services dated , <br />Engineer's Services <br />Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. <br />Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below based on the following project <br />understanding: <br />Project UnderstandinI4 <br />Project Area: Leeper Park bounded by the park's property line on the west, the St. Joseph River on the north and east, <br />and Bartlett Street on the south• Task 1 of the Historic Leeper Park Improvements project is a scoping study to fir •they <br />define and assign opinions of probable construction cost to improvement projects defined in the South Bend River li ont <br />Parks & Trails Conceptual Framework. These projects include: <br />1. Connection Trail <br />This specifically relates to a new trail on the west side of the park continuing from a trail on the south edge of <br />the existing ballfield and connecting to Riverside Drive on the west side ofthe tennis courts. For the purposes <br />of this scoping study, Lochmueller Group will look at internal connectivity throughout Leeper Park including <br />a trail connection along the cast side of Riverside Drive, along the river to Marion Street. <br />2. Multipurpose Feld <br />Conversion of the existing baseball/softball field into a multipurpose sports field. <br />3. Play Area <br />Lochmueller Group will develop a concept for the creation of a new playground located south of the existing <br />tennis courts. <br />4. Overlook Plazas (2) <br />Lochmueller Group will develop concepts for two (2) liver viewing plazas - one north of Riverside Drive and <br />aligned with Lafayette Boulevard and one in the east section of the park near the Rose Garden. <br />5. Studebaker Fountain and Plaza <br />Lochmueller Group will develop a concept for siting the fountain, the associated plaza design, and <br />utility/fountain infrastructure. <br />6. Lavender Garden <br />A concept will be developed illustrating proposed improvements and additional elements in the existing <br />lavender garden, <br />7. Amphitheater <br />Lochmueller Group will complete an inventory and analysis of the existing amphitheater and will make <br />recommendations for improvements. <br />8.
