This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of 18 pages, referred to in and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer for Professional Services dated , Engineer's Services Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below based on the following project understanding: Project UnderstandinI4 Project Area: Leeper Park bounded by the park's property line on the west, the St. Joseph River on the north and east, and Bartlett Street on the south• Task 1 of the Historic Leeper Park Improvements project is a scoping study to fir •they define and assign opinions of probable construction cost to improvement projects defined in the South Bend River li ont Parks & Trails Conceptual Framework. These projects include: 1. Connection Trail This specifically relates to a new trail on the west side of the park continuing from a trail on the south edge of the existing ballfield and connecting to Riverside Drive on the west side ofthe tennis courts. For the purposes of this scoping study, Lochmueller Group will look at internal connectivity throughout Leeper Park including a trail connection along the cast side of Riverside Drive, along the river to Marion Street. 2. Multipurpose Feld Conversion of the existing baseball/softball field into a multipurpose sports field. 3. Play Area Lochmueller Group will develop a concept for the creation of a new playground located south of the existing tennis courts. 4. Overlook Plazas (2) Lochmueller Group will develop concepts for two (2) liver viewing plazas - one north of Riverside Drive and aligned with Lafayette Boulevard and one in the east section of the park near the Rose Garden. 5. Studebaker Fountain and Plaza Lochmueller Group will develop a concept for siting the fountain, the associated plaza design, and utility/fountain infrastructure. 6. Lavender Garden A concept will be developed illustrating proposed improvements and additional elements in the existing lavender garden, 7. Amphitheater Lochmueller Group will complete an inventory and analysis of the existing amphitheater and will make recommendations for improvements. 8.
