Painting alteration, repair or equipment replacement of a customer vehicle by a <br />facility not approved in advance by Medwerks/Crossroads Ambulance Sales & Svc., <br />LLC. <br />• Physical damage to the vehicle from an accident or act of God. <br />• Paint failures resulting from ncglect, misuse or abuse to the vehicle. <br />• Exposure to severe environmental or chemical conditions, such as acid rain, <br />excessive road salt, calcium chloride or other chemical used on road surfaces. <br />• Damaged caused by abrasion or foreign objects. <br />• Finishes on hardware or any items attached to the body and not painted by <br />Medwerks/Crossro�ads Ambulance Sales & Svc., LLC. <br />• Failure of customer to provide normal, regular and customary care for the vehicle <br />paint finish. This includes but is not limited to�, routine washing and cleaning of <br />areas exposed to environmental elements and chemicals as listed above. <br />• Hazing, chalking or loss of gloss caused by improper care, abrasive polishes, <br />cleaning agents, heavy duty pressure washing, or aggressive mechanical wash <br />systems. <br />• Dissimilar Metals Corrosion or Rusting. <br />General and Conversion Warranly: <br />Three (3) Years/36,000 Miles General and Conversion Warranty from Date of Pick <br />Up/Delivery to the original retail purchaser to be free from substantial defects in material <br />and workmanship supplied or performed by M,edwcrks/Crossroads Ambulance Sales & <br />Svc., LLC under normal use and service., <br />The following items are excluded by Medwerks/Crossroads Ambulance Sales & Svc., LLC <br />warranty; <br />a Chassis or items supplied by chassis manufacturer <br />M1 Tires, tire balancing, or wheel alignments <br />• General tightening, light bulbs or headlamp adjustments <br />• Separately manufactured items installed by Medwerks <br />Including, but not limited to: batteries, sirens, battery chargers, inverters, lightbars <br />and similar equipment. These are covered by warranties supplied by the <br />manufacturer of the components. Medwerks will facilitate the warranty and <br />replacement of the defective component. <br />• Normal wear, abuse, accident, negligence or unapproved alteration of original parts. <br />Should repairs become necessary under the terms of this warranty, the extent of that <br />repair shall be determined solely by Medwerks/Cros,srolads Ambulance Sales & Svc., LLC <br />and shall be authorized prior to any work performed. The expense of any transportation <br />to or from such repair facility to obtain warranty coverage shall be the responsibility of the <br />plurchaser/owner of the vehicle. This includes all labor, fuel, tolls, food and costs for <br />lodging if required. <br />Chassis Warranty shall be covered by the Chassis Manufacturer. <br />. . . . . . . . . . . <br />2 <br />
