DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS <br />The City of South Bend Board of Public Works is soliciting sealed proposals the purchase of eight (8) more or <br />less Cardiac Monitors/Defibrillators, one (1) wireless twelve (12) lead reception package, certain trade-in <br />equipment, and certain optional items. Pricing to be valid for twelve months after the date of award. This <br />equipment is to be used by South Bends firefighter/paramedics on emergency medical service calls. <br />Each Cardiac Monitor/Defibrillator shall include: <br />• A minimum of low energy biphasic defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion; <br />• Hands free defibrillation with cable; <br />• 3 Lead ECG cables; <br />• Noninvasive Blood Pressure Monitoring; <br />• Integral external pacing with cable; <br />• 12 Lead acquisition and transmission capabilities with cable(s); <br />• interpretive software for the 12 lead rhythms <br />• Pulse oximetry with cables and adult/pediatric sensors; <br />• End tidal CO2 monitoring and cable; <br />• Carrying/protective padded case (Note: If there is a case option that provides a <br />level of protection, to the unit and accessories, that will positively effect the <br />warrantee or cable replacement over the life of the unit, that is the case which will <br />be quoted); <br />• Rechargeable batteries; 3 lithium ion batteries per monitor. <br />Defibrillator tester; <br />• AC power module and cord; <br />• Printer; <br />• PC card slot(s); <br />• Code marker ability; <br />• Ambulance mount kit; <br />• Blood pressure cuff kit (tube, Ig. adult, sm. Adult, thigh, pediatric); and <br />• Desk top battery charger for each monitor. <br />6 additional 3 Lead ECG cables <br />• 6 additional 12 Lead ECG Cables <br />• 6 additional Pulse oximetry cords and adult sensors <br />Each Automated External Defibrillator (AED) shall include: <br />• AED with adult and pediatric capability; <br />• Carrying case; and <br />• Non -rechargeable battery pack. <br />Each wireless 12 lead reception package shall include: <br />• all necessary software; and <br />• installation technical support and training. <br />• Not to include Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), cell phone, or wireless <br />subscription fees. <br />• Monitor to EHR and Monitor to Hospital wireless ECG transmissions. <br />Trade-in Equipment includes: Up to eleven (11) Zoll E Series Cardiac Monitors and up to eleven (11) desk top <br />battery chargers. <br />Trade-in equipment shall be in 'as is' condition and may be inspected by contacting Andrew Myer <br />(574)235-9255. Vendor shall be responsible for obtaining the trade-in equipment from the South <br />Bend Fire Department upon delivery of purchased equipment. <br />
