South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting -January 21, 2011 <br />the city's contract with Blue Waters Group <br />ends January 31. There are a few projects <br />that are not quite completed. He asked the <br />Commission to extend the contract period to <br />May 31, 2011. There are about $115,000 <br />remaining in the contract. No additional <br />funds are requested. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Extension <br />Addendum to Consulting Agreement by and <br />between the City of South Bend, Department <br />of Redevelopment and Blue Waters Group, <br />ending the term of the contract on May 31, <br />2011. <br />(2) Resolution No. 2839 appointing Interim <br />Architectural Review Board for Ignition <br />Park. <br />Mr. Relos noted that the recently adopted <br />Ignition Park PUD requires the establishment <br />of an Architectural Review Board to review <br />all land uses as well as all site plans, <br />landscape plans, open space /outdoor seating <br />plans, building plans and sign plans for <br />consistency and compatibility with the intent <br />for Ignition Park. The ARB also must <br />approve any land use or development within <br />the Park. As such, the ARB must be in place <br />before any development can occur in the <br />Park. <br />Since the land comprising Ignition Park is <br />currently going through the disposition <br />process, and there is a company who wishes <br />to purchase land now, there is an immediate <br />need for a temporary ARB while the more <br />permanent one gets established.
