Residents are encouraged to as soon as <br />possible so that crews can complete this program and move on to other important <br />projects. As of Jan 27, 1,835 trees have been collected. This is down, substantially, from <br />previous years. <br /> <br />Residents are reminded to place trees at curbside only, and not in the alley, and then call <br />the Division of Streets at 235-9244 to schedule a pickup. If trees are still buried or <br />covered by snow, please assist crews in locating trees for pickup by pulling them out of <br />snow piles. <br />Residents can also drop off live trees at the following locations: <br />? <br /> Rum Village Park <br /> - Ewing Ave. at Gertrude St. <br />? <br /> Pinhook Park <br /> - 2800 block of Riverside Dr. <br />? <br /> Veterans’ Memorial Park <br /> - Twyckenham at Northside Blvd. <br />Please Note: Drop off is for Christmas trees ONLY - no trash is permitted under any <br />circumstances! Placing of any items other than Christmas trees is a ticket-able offense under the <br /> <br />South Bend Municipal Code. <br />The drop-off locations are open seven days a week from 7 am to 5 pm and signs will be <br />
