Public Hearing <br />(1) continued... <br />Mr. Inks noted that the Public Hearing file is <br />complete, containing: (1) a copy of <br />Resolution No. 2753 determining to make the <br />appropriation and setting the public hearing <br />on Resolution No. 2754; (2) a copy of the <br />Notice of Hearing; (3) a copy of Resolution <br />No. 2754, the subject of the public hearing; <br />(4) an affidavit fi-om Jacki Krolczyk, <br />Advertising Director of the South Bend <br />Tribune, that the Notice of Hearing was <br />published in that newspaper on September <br />10, 2010; (5) an affidavit fi-om Richard <br />Andrysiak, Classified Manager of the Tri- <br />County News, that the Notice of Hearing was <br />published in that newspaper on <br />September 10. 2010. <br />Mr. Inks noted that Resolution No. 2754 <br />approves an additional appropriation in the <br />amount of S 1,400,000 for the South Side <br />Development Area Allocation Area No. 1. <br />The budget that staff prepared and the <br />Commission approved for 2010 early in the <br />year did not assume tax revenue from 2009 <br />pay 2010 would be received in 2010 because <br />it has not been timely in recent years. <br />However, the first tax payment has been <br />received on time and the funds need to be <br />allocated. The funds «~ill be used for <br />ongoing projects in the development area as <br />well as projects staff had in its list to address <br />in the futw-e. <br />Ms. Jones opened the public hearing on PUBLIC HEARING orv Reso~uTioN No. 2754 <br />Resolution No. 2754 for whoever wished to <br />speak.
