Temple Tree <br />Mr. Bodnar stated that Temple’s application was in order and he recommended approval. <br />In the case of Bellinni and Ballew, their insurance certificates did not list the City of South <br />Bend as certificate holder. He recommended that they be approved pending the <br />production of a revised certificate of insurance listing the City of South Bend as a holder. <br />Mr. Mullins made a motion to approve the license for Temple Tree Service. Dr. Kelly <br />seconded the motion and it was passed. <br />Dr. Kelly made a motion to approve the renewal of Bellinni Landscaping & Design and <br />the new license of Ballew Landscape Construction pending the revision of their insurance <br />certificates and Mr. Mullins seconded the motion. It was passed <br />2. Requests for Use of Parks- Betsy Harriman <br />Ms. Harriman requested the Board approve the following requests: <br />a. Amanda Gives Back Walk - Howard Park/Riverwalk - September 18, 2010. <br />b. CROP Walk - Howard Park - October 17, 2010. <br /> She stated that both were returning events and were aware of all requirements. <br />Dr. Kelly made a motion to approve the events. Mr. Mullins seconded the motion and it <br />was approved. <br />3. Request to Open Bids for Fitness Equipment- Paul McMinn <br />Mr. McMinn presented three bids to the Board. They were opened and examined by Mr. <br />Bodnar and met legal requirements. They were as follows: <br /> a. Gilles Cycling and Fitness- $101,168 <br /> b. Direct Fitness Solutions- $94,895 <br /> c. BGI Fitness- $95,550 <br />Mr. McMinn requested that the bids be taken under advisement by staff and he will return <br />at the September meeting with a recommendation. <br />Mr. Mullins made the motion and Dr. Kelly seconded it and it was passed. <br />4. Request to Dispose of Miscellaneous Computer Equipment- Bill Carleton <br />Mr. Carleton requested that the Board approve of the disposal of four computer monitors <br />and two tower CPU units that are located at Potawatomi Zoo. <br />Dr. Kelly made a motion to allow disposal of the computer equipment. Mr. Mullins <br />seconded the motion and it was passed. <br />5. Request to Approve Alcoholic Beverages at Chris Wilson Pavilion Event- Paula Garis <br />Ms. Garis explained that the Community Foundation requested that Fiddler’s Hearth <br />provide food and beverages at their final concert of the season at Chris Wilson Performing <br />Arts Pavilion. This would include beer and wine. <br />Mr. Mullins made a motion to approve the request.
