E LLI) RESOLUTION NO. 2775 A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION RATIFYING THE EXECUTION OF DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT (IVY TECH DONATION) WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission ") is the governing body of the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment (the "Department') established under the Redevelopment of Cities and Towns Act of 1953, as amended, being Indiana Code § 36- 7 -14 -1 et seq. (the "Act'); and WHEREAS, the Commission approved the donation of real estate generally known as 412 E. Sample Street (the "Real Estate ") to Community Enterprises Properties, LLC (the "Donee "), on behalf of Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana; and WHEREAS, as a result of such approval, staff members of the Commission caused to be prepared certain documents in compliance with the approved donation of said Real Estate; and WHEREAS, the transaction was closed at the offices of Meridian Title in South Bend during which closing, staff member David Relos executed those documents necessary to effect the donation of the Real Estate to the Donee; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Commission hereby ratifies the actions taken by David Relos in executing those documents necessary to effect the donation of the Real Estate to Community Enterprises Properties, LLC, on behalf of Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana as approved by the Commission. 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect after its adoption. ADOPTED at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held on September 17, 2010, at 1308 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
