2.0 EXPOSURE PATHWAYS ANALYSIS
2.1 Potential Exposure Pathways
Pursuant to the IDEM's RISC Guidance, the following potential exposure pathways exist for the
hazardous substances present in soil at the Site:
• Direct contact to surface soils by visitors and trespassers to the Site through skin
contact, dust inhalation, and soil consumption; and
• Exposure of construction workers to surface and /or subsurface soils during trenching
and /or excavation activities.
As stated in Section 1.0 above, groundwater underlying the Site appears to have been impacted
by off -Site sources, and will not be addressed as part of this project. Therefore, the migration to
groundwater exposure pathway is considered incomplete for this cleanup.
HULL & ASSOCIATES, INC. SBI062.400.0003
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA 3 JULY 2010
