Street, by paving the roadway the same, and WHEREAS, the City Civil Engineer has prepared and filed in the office of this Board a report showing the number and location of the service pipes, mains, conduits. lateral. and connections which are, or will be necessary to aceo¢n ccate .the abutting property and .the owners thereof with gas, water, sewer, .and other conveniences and necccs:re<: and also said City _ Givil Engineer has prepared and filed in said office specifications showing the mater'al to be used and the manes of laying said service pi?:s ®!a`1s. eoaduits, laterals and connections from the mains to the points in- side the curb lines. THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Public Wc.rkes of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the report of the City Civil Engineer is acepted, and sa`d report ar.d the specificcticr:s prepared and fdFd by him are made a part of this resolution as fully and effectually as if copied herein at full length; and it is fur- ther ordered that .all. -of such private coaseetions with the sewer, gas, and water mains be made in said street by bringing them inside,the curb lines thereof. And, be it further resolved • and ordered that after the 20 day period has elapsed fcr the making cf said connection by the property owners, a notice shall be published for two weeks, cnce each week, in the South Bend Tribune and Mews Tim qa newspaper of general circulation publshd in said city. requesting bids from contractor; for the making of such connections as have not been made by the property owners, and such notice shall fix a day, not earlier than ten days after the first of such publications, when bids shall be opened and a contract let for the doing of said work.
