The <br />city was recently approached by this parcel’s <br />owner, indicating his interest in selling if an <br />agreement can be reached. This parcel is <br />between Maplewood and Sheridan, and <br />would allow Maplewood to be closed and <br />vacated adjacent to and north of this <br />property. The Commission currently owns <br />four properties in this block. This parcel <br />would be one of four currently not under <br />control. <br /> <br />Estimated redevelopment cost for this vacant <br />lot is $25,000, which includes acquisition <br />and professional services. <br /> <br />Staff requests your acceptance of this report, <br />and to allow a Declaratory Resolution be <br />brought before the Commission to formally <br />begin the process to allow the acquisition of <br />these properties. <br /> <br />C <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />OMMISSION ACCEPTED THE REPORT AND <br />AUTHORIZED STAFF TO PROCEED WITH A <br />Ms. King and unanimously carried, the <br />DECLARATORY RESOLUTION TO ADD PROPERTIES <br />Commission accepted the report and <br />A <br />TO THE ACQUISITION LIST OF THE IRPORT <br />authorized staff to proceed with a declaratory <br />EDAD <br />CONOMIC EVELOPMENT REA EVELOPMENT <br />resolution to add properties to the acquisition <br />P <br />LAN <br />list of the Airport Economic Development <br />Area Development Plan. <br /> <br /> <br />(2) Resolution No. 2657 amending the <br />Development Plan for the Airport <br />Economic Development Area and adding <br />one or more parcels to the List of Parcels <br />to be Acquired and restating and <br />confirming the Legal Description for the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br /> <br />Mr. Inks noted that a Substitute Resolution <br />No. 2657 was submitted this morning which <br />adds the newly re-written legal description <br /> 31 <br /> <br />
