Tuesday, August 2nd., 1927. <br />the Board <br />rescinds <br />all <br />former action taken on said improvement resolution and declares <br />same null <br />and void <br />and <br />the proceedings closed. <br />In the matter of the remonstrance against the pavement of the <br />Ist., alley west of taurei Street from division Street to Napier Street Under Impro- <br />vement Resolution No.IBft, there are 5 resident property owners, three of whom have <br />signed the remonstrance. This number is a majority, therefore, the Board rescinds all <br />former action taken on said resolution and declares same in all things null and Void an" <br />the proceedings closed. <br />!,r <br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Wray, filed. the primary asses sissmelit roll <br />for the widening of Kline Street from St. Joseph River to wing Avenue under Condemnation <br />Resolution No.I856. In the above named assessment --roll the Board hereby orders that <br />on the I2th., day of October 1927, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hal. <br />at 7-I5 P. FBI., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has A <br />been affected by said condemnation and will decide whether the several lots and parcels'] <br />of land have been or will be benefited or damaged in the amounts shown on said primary <br />assessment roll or in a greater or less amount. The Board furhter orders that notices <br />of said hearing on the benefits and damages shall -be served according to law to all pro+ <br />perty owners affected by said condemnation. <br />i <br />City Engineer, submitted the following partial estimates: <br />Partial estimate No.I for the Roadway widening and pavement on <br />Lincoln 'day West from West line of +7ilbert Street to west line of Olive Street in <br />accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and Williston Construction <br />Co., under Improvement•Resolution No.I8I5. Board signed and approved same in the <br />amount of 'VI4,I95.00. <br />Partial estimate No -I for the pavement improvement on the Ist., <br />alley west of Johnson Street from Prast Street to Lincoln relay West in accordance with t <br />terms of the contract between the City and E. T. Tranberg under Improvement Resolution <br />No.I877. Board signed and approved same in the amount of $70Z.63. <br />Partial estimate No.I for the grade,curb and walk improvement on <br />Lake Street from Division Street to Jefferson Blvd., in accordance with the terms of <br />j the contract between• the. City and Eston Ball under Improvement Resolution No. I825. The <br />Board signed and approved same in the amount of I,854.57. <br />Claims amounting to I2,392.97 signed and approved by the Board.. <br />The Board approved the release of the Williston Construction. <br />Company on guarantee bonds which have expired on the following improvements: <br />Frances Street from Grand Trunk R. R. to Cedar Street, expired <br />6-26-I926. <br />Walnut Street from Sample Street to Indiana Avenue expired 6-29-26. <br />Lawndale Avenue .from Lincoln Way West to VanBuren Street expired J <br />I-I2-I926. <br />Marquette Park paving system expired I0-5-I926. <br />Meeting adjourned at II-30 A.
