CR-50 - HOME 91.520 d 1 <br /> Include the results of on-site inspections of affordable rental housing assisted under the <br /> program to determine compliance with housing codes and other applicable regulations <br /> Please list those projects that should have been inspected on-site this program year based upon <br /> the schedule in §92.504(d). Indicate which of these were inspected and a summary of issues <br /> that were detected during the inspection. For those that were not inspected, please indicate <br /> the reason and how you will remedy the situation. <br /> All HOME-assisted affordable rental housing facilities that were due for inspection in 2017 were <br /> inspected. The following units were inspected to confirm compliance with established housing codes: <br /> YWCA Home to Women (inspected 11/2017)—10 of 10 units, classroom,first and second floor laundry, <br /> client lounge, visitor lounge, children services, and kitchen/dining inspected. No required repairs are <br /> noted below: , <br /> • 1st floor laundry: Establish dryer exhaust maintenance, hook up dryer vent, patch drywall, <br /> shorten exhaust vents to eliminate kinking <br /> • 2nd floor laundry: Establish dryer exhaust maintenance, hook up dryer vent, patch drywall, <br /> shorten exhaust vents to eliminate kinking <br /> • Visitor lounge: Stained ceiling tiles—monitor for leak <br /> North Park Apartments (Inspected 11/2017)—4 of 8 units inspected. All units passed. <br /> East Bank Village Apartments (inspected 11/2017)—9 of 29 units, and common and utility areas <br /> inspected. Required repairs are noted below: , <br /> • 1st Floor main hall: Emergency egress light dim—check battery north end <br /> • 1st floor laundry: Clean dryer vents and establish cleaning program; shorten vent lines <br /> • 2nd floor main hall: North emergency egress light not working <br /> • Unit 209: Bad GIF receptacle in bathroom <br /> Provide an assessment of the jurisdiction's affirmative marketing actions for HOME units. <br /> 92.351(b) ' <br /> The following language is included in every HOME contract executed between the St.Joseph County ' <br /> Housing Consortium and a subrecipient: <br /> "The Developer agrees to carry out the Consortium policy and procedures for affirmative marketing by 1 <br /> the use of community-wide publications, approved Equal Housing Opportunity logo type or slogan in any <br /> applicable marketing of housing assisted with HOME funds, and by any other procedure delineated in <br /> CAPER 28 <br /> OMB Control No:2506-0117(exp.06/30/2018) ' <br />
