Bill No. 63-17-Fixing Maximum Teamster Wages for 2017-2020 <br /> Ms. Hockenhull stated, This is the same bill that was passed in 2016 for 2017 and this extends to <br /> 2020. The only difference is,upon reviewing the ordinance that was filed last year, we left out <br /> the longevity that was included. It was negotiated for and is in the contract, however it didn't <br /> make it into the ordinance last year. It was a new incentive presented last year. It was honored <br /> but wasn't in the ordinance, and it is now in the ordinance this year. <br /> Committee Chair White opened the floor to questions from the Committee and Councilmembers. <br /> There were none. She then opened the floor to members of the public wishing to speak in favor <br /> of or in opposition to the legislation. There were none. She then turned the floor back to the <br /> Committee for further comment or main motions. <br /> Committeemember Ferlic made a motion to send Bill No. 63-17 to the full Council with a <br /> favorable recommendation. Committeemember Voorde seconded the motion which carried <br /> unanimously by a voice vote of four(4) ayes. <br /> Bill No. 64-17-Reaffirming Annual Pay and FrinjZe Benefits for South Bend Police <br /> Department <br /> Ms. Hockenhull stated, There are no changes to this ordinance from last year. <br /> Committee Chair White opened the floor to questions from the Committee and Councilmembers. <br /> There were none.
