Tu es day , June I �t h . , 1930. whatsoever for damages of any nature whatsoever due to the failure in the supply of electric energy or any interrupti on of or deficiency in the same, and the City hereby x :._ :z; o agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Contractor from. any Toss, cost or damage which may be occassioned by any -of, the causes herein in this paragraph set forth. 3. The number of lamps furnished and 1 ight ed by Contractor un der this contract shall be .the number provided for in Paragraph "I" hereof abd shall be located as shown on prints attached hereto and indentified by the signatures, of the Contractor and the Board of Public Works. 4. All. outages of lamps provided for in Paragraph "Itt shall be reported daily in writing by the proper officials of the City to the Contractor and the proper officials of the City may deduct from the'total monthly amount which would have been paid fvz any lamp so reported on any outage, occurring, the sum bear- ing the ratio to such total as the period of outage bears to the total time the lamp would have been lighted in any month. 5. Street lighting united in Paragraph "I" contrasted for shall be moved by the Coiitractcr to such new location as the City may by.writing direct, sgb j ect to the following conditions: Such moving of lamps shall be completed within thirty (30 ) days after receipt by contractor of written notice from the city, Sundays, legal hol- idays and stormy days not to be included, provided that the number of such removals shall not exfeee one per day and provided further that such renewals shall not be re- quired on Sundays, le ga 1 holidays and stormy days. Notice that the work of such re moval of lamps has been completed shall be given by the Contractor to the City within ten (TO) days after completion of the work. The actual cost to the Contractor for making such reloeetions shall be pfid by the City to the Contractor within thirty days after said notice has been given. 6. Additional traffic directors or special indicators of like type and characteristics as those provided for in Paragraph "2" hereof may be added from time to time by the City and the Contractor shall upon written notice from the City furnish electricity for lighting same and payment therefor shall be at the rate provided for in this contract, commencing on the day on thich the units are to be in service. 7. The City shall accept such lamps and the services herein specified dur ing the life of th is contra ct and pay as full compensation therefor at the ra to and pr ice set out i n the a ccepted bid to -wit I. For underground street lighting units. Bend -ix Drive between Linden Avenue and Bertrand Street: 16 - I2 foot Sheridan Hollow Spun Concrete Lighting Standards Octagonal Junior Tops with Spurs, each equipped with I - 2500 lumen street lighting lamp or equ ival en lamp. 35.00 per unit per annum.
