Hydraulic lines
& Plumbing:
Electronic
Manual
Spreader
Control:
All hydraulielines, pipes, hoses, and fittings shall beof
sufficient capacity to accommodate the volume of oil
without undue heating or turbulence in the system. A 2"
suction linewith a minimum SAE rating of 100-134 must be
used between the reservoir and the inlet of the pump. This
suction hose shall be secured on both ends via heavy duty
banding straps, radiator hose clamps unacceptable. All of
the pressure hoses, including the signal sensing lineto the
pump must have.swivel fittings on BOTH ends and have a
minimum SAE rating of 100-R2. Return lines and the case
drain line must have aminimum SAE rating of 100-131.
All fittings shall be JI C. Push on clamp fittings are not
acceptable.
Hydraulic lines shall be routed to minimize interference
with equipment and chassis components requiring periodic
servicing. Appropr+ate: support brackets, grommets, and tie
wraps shal I be provi ded to protect I i nes from abrasion,
cutting and impact damage. Hoses shall not be installed
near manifold or exhaust pipes so as to. be affected by
extreme heat. Thereshatl be no pipefitting used with any
high pressure lines. Any and all hydraulic quick disconnect
couplings used for spreader system and snow plow
reversing system shall be of the bulkhead mounted style
and be rigidly attached without the use of any hose clamp
arrangements (loose hose ends are NOT acceptable). Couplersto
be mounted to side of dump bed so they do not get covered with
material or broken. Dust cap for male ends and dust plug for
female ends must be attached to couplers. M axi mum distance
allowed between support clamps on all hydraulic hoses shall be
approximately 24".
The spreader control will utilize PWM technology to
control the variable feed and spread widths. The feed rate
knob will accommodate different sexttingswhilethe
spread width knob will also accommodate 9 settings. The
control head will have power switch with an indicator
lamp to provide status on the operation of the controller. Unit to be
mounted for safe use by driver.
Controller shall be Storm Guard Freedom 2 controller.
Spreader control shall have ability to be touch screen with usb data
download.
TEPwiring harness.
Screw on cap and plug set for motor sensor connection.
Detai I ed operators manual.
19
SNO
YES NO
