Trunnion bearings shall be 2" OD x 1 1/4" <br />carbon steel, <br />Blade down pressure shall be adjustable and with no less than 1,500 <br />lbs. maximum to be set at 600 PSI, <br />All fittings to be JIC. Push on fittings shall not be accepted. <br />Underbody scrapers shall be furnished with 8" x, 3/4 standard <br />carbon flame hardened blades. <br />Moldboard shall have replaceable blade and end bits. <br />Power reverse shall be cab controlled. <br />Underbody grease zerts shall be centrally located. <br />Specifications for Snow Plow Quick Hitch Lame <br />, <br />General: Snow plow quick hitch shall be heavy duty type to be used for street <br />and/or highway snow plowing by heavy duty trucks. Hitch shall be <br />designed to permit adequate lift and fall radius swing of hydraulic <br />controlled power reversing snow plows. <br />Type: Snow plow hitch shall be an automatic snap coupling type, 34" wide, <br />equipped with 3 " diameter by 10"' stroke hydraulic lift cylinder. <br />Automatic locking shall be accomplished by dual cam actuated <br />spring loaded locking lugs. A lever shall be provided for retraction <br />of locking lugs, Locking lugs shall be I - 7/8" minimum diameter with roller <br />bearings to aid in lifting and lowering plow. <br />Construction: Truck Half, The truck half of the automatic snap coupling hitch shall <br />be 34" wide, 42" high and shall be fabricated from 3/8" thick structural <br />steel, adequately cross membered and securely mounted on the trucks <br />extended front frame. Bottom support members shall be securely <br />attached to the main frame of truck chassis at approximately the center <br />of the front axle. Anti -thrust plating shall be incorporated to prevent <br />transverse movement of hitch and rearward thrust against triangulating <br />bottom support members. Stabilizer bars shall be connected between <br />top portion of the hitch and main fi-ame of the truck. All fasteners shall <br />be of the high tensile type. A lift arm and base support for the hydraulic <br />cylinder shall be included.
