<br />A petition, dated April 24, 1952, to vacate alley between Wayne and Sunnymede
<br />Avenue, submitted by Howard B. Keller and others, and returned to the Board with the
<br />approval of the City Plan Commission, was referred to the City Engineer for further
<br />investigation and report.
<br />A petition dated July 1, 1952 for the vacation of alley, beginning at the south
<br />side of Western Avenue, running south to the first east and west alley between Brookfiel
<br />and Jackson Streets, having been approved by the City Plan Commission, was referred to
<br />the City Engineer for further investigation and report.

<br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO.2709-1952
<br />Certificate of Completion was furnished by the civil engineer, Wilbur H. Gartner,
<br />accompanied by Contractor's Completion Affidavit, of the contract between the City of
<br />South Bend, Indiana, Owner, and the Reed Construction Company, Contractor, for the
<br />construction of the pavement improvement on KLINGER STREET from the east line of
<br />Michigan Street to the west line of Charles Avenue, under improvement resolution
<br />No. 2709-1952 has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications for
<br />this project, mas examined by the Board and ordered filed.

<br />Be it resolved by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana, that the Final Estimate, and Primary Assessment Roll submitted to the Board
<br />by the City Civil Engineer or his duly authorized representative on:the 14th day of
<br />July, 1952 on the improvement known as the KLINGER STREET PAVEMENT improvement as
<br />described in Improvement Resolution No. 2709-1952, passed by the Board of Public Works
<br />and Safety on March 31, 1952, and confirmed by said Board on May 5, 1952, be and the
<br />same is hereby adopted, and the Clerk of this Board is hereby requested to give notice
<br />of the hearing of special benefits on said Improvement, as required by Section N.111
<br />or 120 of an Act entitled, "An Act Concerning Municipal Corporations", approved
<br />March 6, 1905.
