Sill Nos. 98-09 and 99-09, combined for public hearing addressed capital budgets for 2010 <br />including sources of funds and their allotment. <br />The Mayor opened the presentation to Council using a press release from earlier in the day as <br />the basis for his remarks. The press release is attached. City Controller Gregg Zientara, briefly <br />outlined the 2010 Capital Expenditure Budget with the provision of a four page handout. This is <br />attached also. He said the document reflected the city's ongoing program of asset replacement <br />of City infrastructure and operating equipment required to maintain efficient and cost effective <br />service to taxpayers. The report reflected the dollars for capital for the last five years as well as <br />the current 9.9 million dollar funding. <br />Satisfied after brief discussion Councilmember Karen White motioned Bill No. 99-09 be sent <br />favorable. Councilmember Tom LaFountain seconded. All affirmed. Councilmember Oliver <br />Davis motioned Bill No. 98-09 go favorably. Councilmember Karen White seconded.
