Ae <br />Brakes: <br />4-Sensor, 4-modulator anti -lock brake system to include VIOZO <br />an 18 cu f1 air compressor, and a Wabco or equivalent brand <br />heated air dryer with a spin -on type desiccant cartridge. Air <br />dryer mounted to allow for easy maintenance. Front brakes to be <br />16.5"x 5" heavy-duty cast, spider cam type with cast iron brake <br />drums. Rear brakes to be 16.5"x7" heavy-duty cast spider cam -type <br />with cast iron brake drums. Automatic slack adjusters and dust <br />shields on front and rear. Rear brake chambers to be mounted on <br />the forward side of the rear axle for protection. Primary wet tank to be <br />equipped with a Bendix DV-2 heated, automatic moisture ejector. The <br />remaining tanks should have pull cables to drain moisture. 7-way <br />round pin plug at rear of truck, and must also have electric brake <br />controller with Bargman 7-way flat pin plug. Brake and accelerator <br />pedals to be suspended from firewall. <br />Paint: <br />Cab to be painted with base coat/clear coat process, and V40 <br />be White. Frame to be polyurethane process, and be black. <br />Wheels to be powdercoat process, and be white. <br />Rustproofing: <br />Five year minimum, full repair warranty. Cab and chassis WO O <br />to have Ziebart rustproofing. <br />Safety: <br />Truck to conform to all State and Federal Requirements, We< <br />as well as O.S.H.A. and D.O.T. regulations. <br />14' DUMP CONTRACTOR BODY SPECIFICATIONS <br />Body: Body length: 168": Cubic yard capacity 4.4/6.3. Width INO <br />inside 84" outside width 96". Side height 18" measured <br />from the floor. Tailgate height 24" <br />Pintle Hitch: There shall be a pintle combo hitch mounted off 3/4" steel Y 10 <br />plate. Hitch shall include D rings mounted to the hitch plate. <br />There shall be an electric brake controller installed and <br />wired to the rear of the bed and mounted on the pintle hitch <br />plate. The light plug and brake controller plug shall be the <br />same as what is in use by the City now. Bargman 7 way flat. <br />Sides and Head: 10 gauge hi tensile steel floor and sides. Fully welded, V<O <br />boxed rear corner post. Permanent 42" headboard with <br />2 3/4" side board gussets full height. Front bulkhead and <br />cab shield to be one piece, integral design, eliminating <br />welds. Plasma cutslotted window in bulkhead for added <br />visibility from the cab. Sides shall have reverse bend top <br />rail for added strength. Sides shall be free of horizontal <br />13 <br />
