Trees should be placed at the curb line by 6 am. Please do not place trees in streets <br />or alleys. Remember to remove all lights, ornaments, and metal including tree stands and nails. <br />Artificial trees or trees containing glass or metal will not be collected. Call-in pickup will begin <br />today and run through the remainder of the week. Residents who would like to drop off their <br />trees will be able to do so starting today at the following locations: <br />Rum Village Park <br />- - Ewing Ave. at Gertrude St. <br />Pinhook Park <br />- - 2800 block of Riverside Dr. <br />Veterans’ Memorial Park <br />- - Twyckenham at Northside Blvd. <br />Please Note: Drop off is for Christmas trees ONLY - no trash is permitted under any circumstances! <br />Placing of any items other than Christmas trees is a ticketable offense under the South Bend <br />Municipal Code. <br /> <br />The drop-off locations are open seven days a week from 7 am to 5 pm and signs will be <br />posted to direct residents to designated drop-off point’s at all three locations. All trees are <br />recycled as Organic Resources into high quality mulch, which is provided, free, to South Bend <br />residents. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />- 30 - <br />
