oRDINANCE N®. <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, AMENDING ORDINANCE # 9924-09 TO READJUST CERTAIN <br />DISTRIBUTIONS FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2009 WITHIN COMMUNITY <br />D-E- -V-EL- OP-MENT EUND_(#212) - -- <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />On May 12, 2009, the South Bend Common Council passed Ordinance #9924-09 which <br />appropriated a total of $4,098,531.00 in Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) .monies <br />receivable from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This <br />Ordinance #9924-09 provided for distribution to various City agencies and non-profit private <br />enterprises which perform housing rehabilitation and other services beneficial to the South Bend <br />Community in furtherance of the HUD grant purposes. <br />Since passage of Ordinance #9924-09, certain operational changes have occurred which <br />require the increase of certain designated appropriations and the decrease of others. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA as follows: <br />SECTION I.
