ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, APPROPRIATING $76,000.00 FROM GENERAL FUND # 101 TO <br />PURCHASE AND SPECIALLY EQUIP THREE POLICE VEHICLES <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />The South Bend Police Department is in need of three squad cars which it can purchase at <br />a very reasonable cost through the State of Indiana's Quantity Purchase Agreement (QPA). The <br />Police Department has accumulated monies deposited within General Fund # 101 from <br />reimbursed repairs of damaged equipment. The sum of $76,000.00 should be appropriated to <br />purchase and equip police vehicles. <br />NO~JV, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA as follows: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $76,000.00 shall be set aside and appropriated within General <br />Fund #101 to purchase three vehicles and equip them appropriately for the specific use and the <br />needs of the South Bend Police Department. <br />SECTION II.
