294 REGULAR MEETING MAY 17, 1982 start from the Century Center parking lot and utilize Jefferson Boulevard to St. Louis Boulevard for an approximate 5-minute period then proceed down Northside Boulevard to IUSB and return ending at Howard Park via the footbridge in the Block 6 area. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - GREAT AMERICAN HOT DOG STAND An application was submitted for Board approval for the Great American Hot Dog Stand located at the rear of the property at 1015 Corby Boulevard. Mr. Leszczynski noted that favorable inspections of the site had been conducted by the Health Department and Neighborhood Code Enforcement -Office and permission from the property owner, had been submitted for use of the property for that purpose. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded byMr. Hill and carried, the Open Air Stand License was approved.and the matter referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance of the appropriate permit. FILING 'OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS A list containing 44 lots ordered cleaned by the Director of the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office was submitted. It was noted that property owners had been advised to. clean up the lots and had failed to do so. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the environmental list was filed. APPROVE RELEASE OF EXCAVATION BOND - BARTOLINI EXCAVATING CO. Following a review of the request of Bartolini Excavating Company for release of its Excavation Bond, Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak recom- mended approval. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the Excavation Bond was released. APPROVE CONTRACTORS' BONDS The following Contractors'.Bonds were submitted for Board approval along with a favorable recommendation from Ray S, Andrysiak: Robert W. Modlin - approve retroactive to May.13, 1982 Aardvark, Inc. - approve retroactive to May 13, 1982 Heritage Construction - approve retroactive to May.12, 1982 Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above bonds were approved retroactive to the dates indicated. FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY MONTHLY REPORT (APRIL, 1982) The report indicated a total of 268 dogs handled for the month of April, 1982; 141 cats; and 67 other animals, for a total of 476 animals handled. Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the report was filed. FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the certificate of insurance for Slutsky-Peitz Plumbing and Heating Company for mechanical work on the atrium portion of the First Bank Center Project was filed. APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the following handicapped parking permits were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance; - Jennie Barnaby, 19825 E.
