REGULAR MEETING October 10, 2016 Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana met in the Council Chambers of the County -City Building on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Council President Tim Scott and the Invocation and Pledge to the Flag was given. ROLL CALL COUNCIL MEMBERS: Tim Scott Regina Williams- Preston Randy Kelly Josephine Broden Dr. David Varner Oliver J. Davis John Voorde Gavin Ferlic Karen L. White OTHERS PRESENT: Kareemah Fowler Jennifer Coffman Alkeyna Aldridge Joseph Molnar Kathleen Cekanski - Farrand Adriana Rodriguez 1St District, President 2nd District 3rd District 4th District 5th District 6th District, Vice President At -Large At- Large, Chairperson Committee of the Whole At -Large City Clerk Chief Deputy Clerk Deputy Clerk Clerk Executive Assistant Council Attorney Legal Research Assistant ORT FROM THE SUB - COMMITTEE ON MINUTES Councilmember Gavin Ferlic made a motion that the minutes of the September 26th, 2016 meeting of the Council be accepted and placed on file. Councilmember Karen White seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. SPECIAL BUSINESS Council President Tim Scott announced that Bills 41 -16, 59 -16, 60 -16, 61 -16, 63 -16, 44 -16, 45- 16, and 57 -16 will all be continued until later dates. Councilmember Oliver Davis announced that at the next Zoning and Annexation Committee meeting they will have an informational hearing only on the Commerce Center rezoning where they will be asking for certain reports to be given to the Committee. The request list will be sent out for an update to the Committee and Council for a building report, traffic study, Community Investment report, Engineering report, Area Plan Commission confirmation of documents, impact on housing, ABZA minutes from December 2013, and a recommendation from the Mayor.
