REGULAR MEETING September 14, 2015 Councilmember Gavin Ferlic – I would like to thank the co-sponsors Oliver and Tim, Kathy as well. I think a map of downtown would help food truck owners and an ethics code that can highlight regulations. Thank you. Councilmember Henry Davis, Jr. – Thank you Chris for explaining the restrictions, as to where they can and cannot park. I wasn’t against it, I just wanted the parking to not be an issue. As the zoning is built in to the regulations. Awesome job, thank you for explaining that. Councilmember Dieter – The lead seller of pizza downtown stated no-one has contacted them. They are not in favor of it. I would hate to see a truck come in and have them shut-down business. So please get in touch with them, as stranger things have happened. There being no one present wishing to speak to the Council in opposition to this bill, Councilmember Mr. Gavin Ferlic made a motion for favorable recommendation to full Council concerning this bill. Councilmember Oliver Davis seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. RISE AND REPORT Councilmember White requested a motion to rise and report to full Council. BILLS - THIRD READING 35-15 THIRD READING ON A BILL AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4325 S. MICHIGAN STREET, COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT NO. 5 IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA This bill had third reading. Council Attorney Kathy Cekanski-Farrand requested a motion to amend as it was in the Committee of the Whole. So moved by Councilmember Gavin Ferlic. Councilmember Karen White seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. Council Attorney Kathy Cekanski-Farrand requested a motion for passage of Bill 35-15 as amended. So moved by Councilmember Oliver Davis. Councilmember Karen White seconded the motion which carried.
