REGULAR MEETING June 27, 2016 We are not asking for an adjustment or change to that mechanism. This gives us the opportunity to do this in April when the schedule changes so that we don't lose any federal funding for reimbursement. Councilmember Dr. David Varner stated these are not arbitrarily set by the Administration or the Fire Department. These reflect the payments Medicare says they will reimburse. It simply makes our fees the same as the Medicare reimbursement. It is constrained by that measurement and anything else would be in violation of the proposal. Councilmember Oliver Davis made a motion to send Bill 30 -16 to the full Council with a favorable recommendation.
